CHAPTER 1

GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. The policy of Mogilevkhimvolokno OJSC regarding the processing of cookies (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) was developed in order to implement the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of May 7, 2021 No. 99-3 “On the protection of personal data” and is one of the measures to protect the personal data of users of Internet sites www.khimvolokno.by, www.gazeta-ts.by, www.hv-hotel.by, www.sosny-mogilev.by, www.mogrmz.by (hereinafter - Sites) owned by OJSC Mogilevkhimvolokno (hereinafter referred to as the Operator).

2. Cookies are text files that, when visiting a website, are transferred and stored on the user’s device (computer, smartphone, etc.). Using these files, the site remembers information about the user and his device, and also “recognizes” the user and his device on a subsequent visit. These files prevent you from having to re-enter or select the same options when you visit sites again.

3. Cookies are processed for the following purposes:

- ensuring the safety of Site users;

- correct functioning of the Sites and increasing the ease of use;

- collection of analytical information in a summarized form to evaluate and further improve the operation of the Sites.

The Operator does not use cookies to identify personal data subjects.

TYPES OF COOKIES AND THEIR STORAGE DURATION

5. The following types of cookies are processed on the Sites:

- necessary;

- third-party.

5.1. necessary (technical) cookies – required to ensure the proper functioning of the Sites, including the correct use of the features offered on them. These cookies do not store any information about the user that could be used for advertising (marketing) purposes or to evaluate user behavior on the Sites. Such data is not transferred to analytical systems;

5.2. third party cookies:

- cookie of the Yandex.Metrica web analytics script, which is used by Yandex and allows you to collect anonymized information about traffic sources, site traffic and evaluate the effectiveness of advertising. To count visitors, Yandex.Metrica uses anonymous browser identifiers, which are stored in cookies. - cookie of the Google Analytics web analytics script, which is used by Google and allows you to collect anonymized information about traffic sources, site traffic and evaluate advertising effectiveness. Third-party cookies used on the Sites are managed by third parties. The Operator does not allow such third parties to use cookies created when visiting the Sites in any other way and for any other purposes other than those specified above.

6. Cookie storage periods:

6.1. necessary cookies are stored for up to 12 months, with the exception of session cookies, which are stored during a visit to the site and are deleted after closing the browser window.

6.2. the choice of cookie settings is stored for 12 months from the moment of confirmation by the user;

6.3. third-party cookies necessary for the functioning of third-party services, such as web analytical platforms Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica, are stored in accordance with the policies of the corresponding third-party sites, but not more than 24 months.


CHAPTER 3

SETTING COOKIES USING THE SITE AND THE CONSEQUENCES OF DISABLED THEM

7. Users may accept or reject, unless necessary, all cookies processed on the Sites. Disabling necessary cookies will result in incorrect operation. Sites and disabling some key features. Disabling third-party cookies used for analytical purposes does not allow us to determine the preferences of users of the Sites, including the most and least popular pages and take measures to improve the operation of the Sites based on user preferences.
