Spunbonded polyester geotextiles
Non-woven geotextiles are used as separation layers to prevent soils from mixing and also as filters for drainage structures. Thus, non-woven geotextiles protect geomembranes when used in impervious screens of disposal sites.
Geotextile webs should be used in conformity with the requirements of normative technical documents in force related to provision of draining, separating, reinforcing, etc. interlinings in road structures, subfoundations, land and reclamation constructions, and also when installing water drains, running pipelines, building airdromes and constructing subsurface structures and landfills.

The width of substrates is 4.35 ± 0.05 m, and it can be changed by mutual agreement.
Geotextile Polyester Webs (Geotextiles) are spunbonded non-woven materials, which undergo further needling thereby acquiring higher physical-and-mechanical properties as compared to fibre-based non-woven materials. Geotextiles are characterized by high elastic modulus, high resistance to local mechanical damages, qualities very important for the process of laying the material. Geotextiles are chemically indifferent to acids and aggressive biological media, they are not subject to putrefaction or exposure to fungi and mold.
The web, after being laid down on and fastened to the ground surface, must be protected from sunlight (ultraviolet radiation).
Geotextiles can be installed practically in any weather conditions. The material precisely follows the base surface geometry and does not require any special fastenings.
If needed, the webs can be joined together using ultrasonic devices or by mechanically stitching them up (thermal splicing is not allowed).
At manufacturing nonwoven geotextiles cut-off selvages 50 to 150 mm wide remain
External defects such as holes, flimsy spots, cut-off selvages are not allowed for polyester substrates grade A
The following deviations are allowed for polyester substrates:
- the existence of flimsy spots for grade B , 1 sport for 50 nominal running meters of substrates
- substrates layer-shifting in roll ends, max: for grade À - 50mm; for grade B - 80mm
- the existence of dirty and color inclusions for grade À, B.
The web is made in rolls and packed in PE film.
