JSC “Mogilevkhimvolokno” produced a pilot batch of a new product - bicomponent fibre type “side-by-side” (conjugate). Owing to its permanent spiral crimp, good elasticity and tension, polyester bicomponent fibre type “side-by-side” is used in production of blankets, pillows, cushioned furniture, and other articles, as well as in production of nonwoven materials. Moreover, bicomponent fibre used for high quality nonwoven and filling materials has the following properties: excellent resistance and strength with tender feathery feel.
